While book does have a few illustrations through I think it is still very age appropriate with its context. I would recommend this book to my ten your old niece in a heart beat ,because the author did a very good job in presenting positive relationships and how to deal with certain situations. She takes a very mature route to working through the problem at hand.I absolutely loved they tackled the issue of what really friendship and being a friend in only some situations is not a true friendship. Katie finds the courage to face off with a former friend in this addition to Spotlight’s sweet treat of a tween series.
